HIYA Entertainment Creates an Unforgettable Evening for Edwards Lifesciences
There are some events that are special from the very beginning — and this was certainly one of them. We were absolutely delighted to be entrusted with delivering a huge corporate celebration for Edwards Lifesciences Ireland, marking an incredible achievement: being named Plant of the Year for the second year in a row.
An achievement of this scale deserved a celebration to match. We were thrilled to bring the occasion to life at the UL Arena, creating a memorable evening for 450 people of Edwards Lifesciences team, their colleagues and guests.
Behind the Scenes of a Huge Corporate Event
An event of this scale requires a huge amount of planning and production to ensure everything runs seamlessly for 450 guests. The UL Arena was transformed with a full-scale professional production setup, including stage design, high-quality sound, dynamic event lighting, large-format screens and visual content, all carefully coordinated to create the right atmosphere throughout the evening.
From the initial room set-up of two rooms (pre- function drinks reception and main function room) and technical rehearsals through to managing microphones, music, entertainment, speeches and presentations, every element had to work together perfectly. Our 100 person production and crew teams, entertainment and catering worked tirelessly behind the scenes, ensuring that every cue was hit, every transition was smooth and every guest had an incredible experience. It is this combination of meticulous planning, technical expertise and creative production that helps turn a large corporate gathering into a truly memorable event.
A Corporate Celebration of Incredible Achievement
From the moment guests arrived, the atmosphere was one of excitement, pride and celebration. Our goal was to create an experience that recognised not only the fantastic award itself, but also the people behind the achievement — the dedication, teamwork and commitment that made this success possible.
Working alongside a fantastic team of professionals, entertainers and crew, we brought together all the elements needed to create a large-scale corporate event that would leave a lasting impression. The evening began with a drinks reception and mouth-watering nibbles in the pre-function room, to the sounds of a brass band, before moving on to the main function room for the meal. This was followed by famous band The Coronas which had people on their feet and many stayed dancing for the night as the next band up was Who Knows? Ended the night of dancing with DJ Adam Sexton who kept the crowd entertained for the rest of the night. Judging by the smiles, energy and atmosphere throughout the evening, it was certainly a night to remember!
